SSPX: their simple and charitable explanation.
SSPX: Please see the below link for their simple and charitable
explanation of why they are not in schism, why they are not actually
excommunicated, and why their sacraments are valid and licit.
I
have not heard of anyone leaving the SSPX, priests or laity, because of
the threats and punishments. In fact the SSPX appears to have gotten
stronger. As for my stand, they represent the true Catholic
Church and Religion, not those of the gay-friendly man-centered Vatican
II, Novus Ordo "Ecumenical Catholic Church," although it contains elements of true Catholicism and adherents who sincerely want to be good Catholics.
My
only concern is that the SSPX recognizes the Pope of that church as also
being the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. I prefer what is known as the Sedeprivationist position:
Leo XIV was validly elected, which makes him a "Material Pope," but he does
not intend to profess the integral Catholic Faith, therefore he is not a
"Formal Pope."
