The Twenty Four Hours of the Passion

Special Lenten meditations – the Twenty Four Hours of the Passion, beginning with the hour that Jesus took leave of His Mother Mary, until His burial. These are based on a book which has had six Imprimaturs from various bishops and countries.

They were composed by Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, under the spiritual direction of St. Hannibal Di Francia.

  1. It's hard staying Catholic,especially the older I become.
    I want to get back at others who have betrayed me,be rude to people who are rude to me,insult those who insult me,etc..plus our priest is an arrogant,insulting,condescending,egotistical,rude individual.
    Staying and living Catholic is extremely tough and I can see why so many fall by the wayside and live a life of careless hedonism.

  2. When you read these Hours of the Passion and see Jesus had to endure, not just the outer sufferings but also His inner torments, you can receive strength and grace to carry on.
